FAQ

What should I bring?
A laptop, iPad, notebook- something to take notes on.

Should I bring my camera?
Because of the amount we will be teaching, there will not be a styled shoot for this workshop. But the venue and set-up will be beautiful so feel free to bring your camera and document the day.

What about food?
We're going to share an amazing brunch styled by Sarah Snyder of Formations of Mental Objects.  Coffee and snacks will be available all day long. Please let us know ahead of time if you are vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or have any dietary restrictions. We will take good care of you!

How is this different than any other workshop?
This isn't about a 1 day workshop. We will be in touch with you before the workshop and long after. Beforehand, we will send out a survery to find out what questions you would like answered either during our sessions or our panel discussion. After the workshop, each attendee will be invited to join our private Facebook group where we can stay connected, share tips & tricks, send referals, find (or be) second shooters, and most of all be friends. As with all things Asheville Folk, the absolute best part of this workshop is the community.

Are there refunds?
Unfortunatly, all seats are non-refundable. But if you are unable to attend, we will allow you to transfer your ticket if you find someone to take your place.

*Attendees will also have the option to join a mentor group for an additional $100. These groups will be smaller, more intimate and a chance for you to ask more questions, get one on one advice, and honest feedback on your portfolio.*
